Plugin Installation

The Tapeto plugin lets a WordPress site receive pushed content directly from your Tapeto account — creating pages, menus and custom post types, and injecting Gutenberg or Elementor content into them.

You only need it if you want direct push. If you’re happy exporting JSON or a WXR file and importing manually, you can skip this entirely — see Exporting Results.

Requirements

• WordPress with PHP 8.1 or higher.
• Elementor 3.10+ if you plan to push Elementor content to this site (tested up to Elementor 3.25). Not required if you only push Gutenberg.

Install the plugin

1. Download the plugin .zip from your Tapeto account.
2. In your WordPress site, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Select the .zip file and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate.
