FAQ
Common questions about how Tapeto works, beyond billing — see Pricing for plan-specific questions.
For plan limits, refunds and billing questions, see the Pricing FAQ. This page covers product and technical questions.
What’s the difference between exporting and pushing?
Exporting downloads the result (JSON or a WXR file) for you to import or use yourself. Pushing sends the result directly to a connected WordPress site via the Tapeto plugin, creating the page for you. See Exporting Results.
Which design formats can I convert?
HTML/CSS and Figma are available on every plan. Penpot, Stitch, XD and Pencil are available from the Pro plan up. You can also clone any public URL instead of uploading files — see Converting HTML/CSS Designs.
Which builders are supported?
Gutenberg is available on every plan. Elementor is available from Starter up. Oxygen is available from Pro up. Divi and Bricks are available on Agency and Studio. See the builder availability table for the exact breakdown by plan.
Do I need the WordPress plugin?
Only if you want direct push to a WordPress site. You can always export JSON or a WXR file and use it without installing anything on your site — see Plugin Installation if you do want direct push.
What does the Fidelity Score measure?
It’s a 0–100 estimate of how closely the generated blocks match the source design — spacing, typography, image placement and structure. It’s not a guarantee of pixel-perfect output, but a signal for how much manual review to expect.
Can I use the API instead of the web app?
Yes — every conversion, export and push action available in the web app is also available through the REST API. Start with Authentication.
Where do I report a bug or request a feature?
Use the support channel listed in your account dashboard. For plan-specific support level (community, email, or priority), see Pricing.
